My training schedule

The general plan is divide my years training up into 3 phases, for the first which runs until September 10 I will be following an sprint Tri training programme and doing a sprint Tri race in August, an Olympic distance (1.5km swim, 40km bike and10km run) programme will follow with a race late Sept/Oct.

The plan from there is to really ramp up the distance training over the first part of the winter and either do a 70.3 Ironman somewhere warm or a long distance Duathlon – during this time i’ll be starting my Ironman training programme.

I’ll be using a series of races to monitor my progress, results and news afer each will appear here

August Sprint Triathlon – TBA

Sept 5th – Tour of Britain ride 108miles Minehead to Teignmouth, with about 3200ft of Climbing
