Rowcroft provide care to 1000 patients with life limiting illnesses in the Torbay area every year. In my dad’s case this was provided by the palliative care nurses both at home and visiting him in the nursing home. Dad’s Brain Tumor was a huge shock for us all, and although the care provided by the NHS had stabilised him, it wasn’t until the Rowcroft nurses got involved that we really understood exactly what was going on and what to do best for him in his limited time. The support given by Rowcroft both before and after dad’s death was a real help. Rowcoft are completely funded by donations and provide such a valuable service to our community – i hope you never have to deal with a terminally ill relative or friend, but please help them.
